Rockawayfest Showcase feat Boys Like Girls & Motion City Soundtrack

Rockawayfest Showcase is back again for its third time, this time featuring pop-punk band Boys Like Girls and rock band Motion City Soundtrack!

Motion City Soundtrack was formed in 1999 but their career actually started in summer of 2003 when they released their debut album, I Am the Movie. Having Mark Hoppus of Blink 182 produce their second album in 2005 kinda helped too. So far, they have performed in the Warped Tour, and have also toured all around the USA, UK and even Brazil. Now, after the recent release of their fifth studio album, Go, they’re coming to Malaysia for the very first time to perform!

Joining them will be Boys Like Girls, who have been in Malaysia previously for MTV World Stage. After 5 long, tiring years of touring, the band took a break but now they have regrouped and their upcoming third album, Crazy World, is set to be released in summer or early fall of 2012. For those of you who can’t wait to listen to their new stuff, Crazy World EP will be released on 17 July so you can grab a copy to whet your appetite!
